TOP ESPORTS take the series. They beat Anyone's Legend 2–1 in LPL Week 5 on August 19, but only after AL had pulled the series level and forced a decider.

The opener belonged to TES. They took 8 towers to AL's 2 and finished with roughly 9,000 more gold, with ZUIAN arguably the standout on Gnar. He went 5/0/5 and dealt 23,669 damage, while Creme's Ryze led the game with 25,912. On the other side, Breathe's Ambessa managed a 22% kill participation, a rare quiet outing from the AL top laner.

AL answer back

Game 2 was a different story. AL closed it out in 23:27 and kept TES at zero towers, zero dragons and zero barons, a lopsided scoreline by any measure. Hope carried the damage on Sivir, going 7/2/4 with 31,076 damage, while Kael's Karma finished 0/0/14 and was involved in 93% of his team's kills. Breathe bounced back as well, posting 3/0/7 on K'Sante. TES, by contrast, never found a foothold: JackeyLove's Ezreal ended the game with no kills and a 43% kill participation.

Creme settles it

The decider was the bloodiest of the three, with 40 kills between the two sides, and the closest on gold, with TES finishing about 4,300 ahead. What separated the teams was Creme. His Yone went 9/1/8 with 37,671 damage, the highest figure of the series, and TES turned that into 9 towers, 4 dragons and both barons. JackeyLove was more involved this time, finishing 5/2/8 on Jhin.

AL were far from outclassed. Tarzan's Qiyana went 8/5/6 with 30,163 damage, and Hope's Varus added 34,953, but the deaths on the AL side were spread around: Breathe and Shanks each died six times. Against a mid laner who died once all game, that was seemingly too much to overcome.

For TES, it's a series win that needed all three games. For AL, the second game showed how good they can be, and they head into the rest of the LPL season with a narrow loss, not a blowout.
