MIBR.LOS took a 2-1 series win over Team Liquid Alienware in the Swiss stage at Worlds, splitting the first two games before claiming a marathon decider that ran past the 47-minute mark.

Game 1 was the shortest of the set and the most one-sided. On the blue side, MIBR.LOS wrapped it up in 29:52 with 15 kills to 7, a gold edge of roughly 9,000 and a 9-3 tower count. They also secured three dragons and both barons. Team Liquid Alienware answered in Game 2, again from the red side, taking a 38:01 win with a 15-8 kill advantage, five dragons to one, the only baron and nine towers to five. Josedeodo's Xin Zhao was involved in every one of his team's kills, finishing 5/1/10, while Quid went deathless at 4/0/6 on Orianna.

The decider was a long one at 47:16, and the final numbers favored MIBR.LOS clearly: 17 kills to 5, about 9,800 more gold, ten towers to six and five dragons to two. Team Liquid Alienware did take two barons to MIBR.LOS's one, but it was not enough. Yeon farmed an enormous 535 CS on Yunara and dealt 34,158 damage, with Quid adding 34,005 on Viktor.

Zest was the headline act of Game 3, turning a Tristana top pick into a 10/1/3 line with 47,524 damage, the highest single-game total in the series. Curse was MIBR.LOS's most consistent threat across the set: a flawless 7/0/6 on Trundle with 87% kill participation in Game 1 and another deathless 4/0/7 on Pantheon in Game 3. Ackerman's playmaking also showed in the box score, with 11 assists in both of his team's wins.

On the losing side of Game 2, Duduhh still put up a staggering 47,240 damage on Ezreal, a sign of how close the firepower ran even when the result swung away. In the end, MIBR.LOS's control of objectives in their two wins carried them through.
