G2 are 2-0 winners over SK Gaming. The LEC Week 2 series needed more than 84 minutes of play across two games, but SK never managed to take one, and G2 claimed all three Barons along the way.

The first game was the cleaner of the two. G2 finished it with an advantage of more than 10,000 gold and an 11-3 tower count after 41:32, which points to a team that had control of the map, even if SK matched them on dragons at three apiece. The second was a different kind of contest: 51 combined kills, a final gold gap of around 5,000 and another game past the 40-minute mark. SK fought back harder there, yet the result was the same.

Hans Sama sets the tone

The clearest individual story belongs to Hans Sama. G2's ADC went 7/1/6 on Sivir and 9/2/9 on Corki, 16 kills against three deaths for the series, and topped the damage charts in both games with 45,315 and 49,821. Few players on either side came close to that output.

He had help. SkewMond's 8/3/7 on Naafiri made him the second-richest player on the map in game two, while BrokenBlade's Vayne pick put out 44,777 damage, a striking number from the top lane. Caps was quieter on Cassiopeia than on Viktor, but G2 rarely needed him to carry.

Where SK came up short

SK's backline had a rough time. Mikyx died 14 times across the two games, and Wunder's 4/8/2 on Jayce in the opener came despite him leading SK in damage. SlowQ's 8/6/7 on Locke and Jopa's steady numbers in game two gave SK a real foothold, arguably their best stretch of the series. Still, without a single Baron, it is hard to see where the decisive objectives would have come from.

For G2, the win counts as a series where the bot lane did the heavy lifting and the rest of the roster filled in around it. For SK, the second game offers something to build on, though they will want answers for the gold and objective gaps before their next outing in the LEC.
