Shopify Rebellion have taken the series. After a heavy opening defeat, they beat Sentinels 2-1 in the LCS Week 3 best-of-three by winning the final two games.
The first game belonged to SEN. They won it 17 kills to 8, with four dragons and seven towers to SR's two. Rahel led the way on Ezreal at 8/1/4, and DARKWINGS had a hand in every one of his team's kills on Hwei despite not scoring one himself. For SR, Zeyzal's Camille finished 0/5/2, a pick that did not pay off.
Fudge turns it around
The second game was where the series changed, and Fudge was the reason. His Gnar finished 10/4/5 with 26,021 damage, the most of anyone on the map, as SR won 21 kills to 17. The odd part is the objective count: SEN took both barons in that game and still lost, while SR edged them on towers, nine to seven, and on gold. Taking two barons and still losing is arguably the most painful result SEN will take from the day.
A clean finish for SR
The decider was the longest game of the series at 39:05, and SR controlled the map. They took both barons and ten towers to SEN's six. Bvoy, playing Viktor from the bot lane, finished 5/0/2 with a team-high 29,999 damage, and Zeyzal bounced back on Rakan with a deathless 0/0/11 and a hand in every SR kill. It was a low-kill game, 11 to 7, and SR's blue side made the most of it. They played blue in all three games.
SEN were not without bright spots. DARKWINGS put out 35,211 damage on Ryze in the decider, and Rahel's Lucian died zero times while farming 450 CS. But Impact had a difficult series, finishing 5/12/13 across three games, and SEN's bot side could not turn its farm into kills often enough to swing the last two games.
For SR, the takeaway is a series won after a rough start. For SEN, the question is how a team that controlled the opener as completely as they did, and took two barons in game two, still left without the series.
